Su valor reside en que tales temáticas han sido compartidas en talleres y exposiciones con la activa participación de armadores y guías turísticos de la ciudad. Poner en valor del sistema fluvial de la ciudad de Valdivia como recurso patrimonial al servicio del turismo y fortalecer el sentido de pertenencia y educación de todos los habitantes de ella es el objetivo principal de este manual. Con ello esperamos difundir y apoyar la interpretación histórica de este maravilloso paisaje cultural, desde los primeros habitantes hasta nuestros días, contribuyendo a mejorar la experiencia estética de todos los visitantes.
